摘要
牛僧孺是唐代著名传奇作家 ,其《玄怪录》被称为唐人传奇集的代表。他的小说 ,通过神奇怪异的故事 ,反映了中晚唐现实生活和人情世态 ,“始有意为小说” ,建构了古代小说结构的基本程式 ,在中国古典小说发展史上具有重要地位。
NIU Seng-ru was a well-known writer of tales of the marvellous in the Tang Dynasty,and his collection of short stories,Records of Strange and Mystery Beings,has been considered to be representative of literary tales of the Tang.NIU's tales of the mythical and unusual are a reflection of real life,human feelings and the ways of the world,and there are in them a series of images of foxes,evil spirits,ghosts and monsters created with distinctive features,as a result of which he'begins to concentrate on writing stories',succeeds in constructing the basic pattern of the story structure,and has an important place in the evolutionary history of the Chinese classic novels.
