摘要
湘鄂渝黔边苗族崇拜的白帝天王 ,虽然多次被统治者所改造 ,但并未成为苗族社会所崇拜的一种异己的社会力量。白帝天王的原型是竹王 ,并兼具民间神话中“白孩子”的精魂。苗族通过对这一崇拜对象内涵的不断丰富 ,来反抗民族压迫。
Baiditianwang', a god worshipped by Miao people in the West of Hunan and Hubei, hasnt become a kind of dissident social powers in the society of Miao people, though the ruling classes have changed it more and more times. The origin of “Baiditianwang” is a bamboo king with the soul of “white child' in a folk fairy tale. Through enriching the connotation of this worship continuously, Miao people express their resistance to ethnic oppression. [
