A brief account of the position of lead-acid storage cells in chemical electrici-ty sources,challenges confronted thereof,recent development trend,existing problems,applica-tional scope,market demands and prospects of the lead-acid storage cells industry are pre-sented and analyzed.And the countermeasures for coping with challenges and existing prob-lems after China's accession to WTO are also stated.
