摘要
中国文人画家具有中国传统文人的双重人格特征 ,即道以自认的使命感与恣情任性的个性品质 ,同时又兼有艺术家独具的个性与品格。他们追求精神上的自我超越与自由 ,因而也使中国绘画进入了一种超逸之境。文人画家的自我超越源自他们精神上的超凡脱俗之气概 ,这气概外溢成他们多彩的人格风范。它包括文人画家们的举世高标、愤世嫉俗、闲逸恣情、自洁自爱等人格类型。这些人格的突出表现说明这样一个事实 :即文人画家首先是人格自立、自主、自由的人 。
The Chinese literati painters are characteristic of the double personalities typical of the Chinese traditional intellectuals. They combine their sense of mission with their wayward personalities. At the same time they also exhibit the unique and special traits of the artists. They seek after the spiritual transcendence and freedom. This is best exhibited in the Chinese painting which is unconventionally graceful, free and natural. The transcendence of the literati painters originates from their spiritual uniqueness, which illustrates their colorful and various characteristics and personalities as the universal matchlessness, cynicism, leisure, unrestiaint and self respect. All these features explain one fact that the literati painters are first regarded as independent in character and personality and then they are considered as artists.
