The methods for preparing carbon nanotubes including electric arc synthesis, pyrolysis and decomposition of hydrocarbon, and flame synthesis , etc. , were described in details. Purification technology of carbon nanotubes including chemical purification, physicochemical purification and mechanical purification, and opening technique of carbon nanotubes had been outlined.
