摘要
田汉的剧作有一种独特的艺术情趣,其中具有较多的现代主义艺术特质:诸如丰富奇特的想象力,原始神秘的生命力,浓郁的感伤与悲凉的孤独,表现人物潜意识的梦幻手法和象征手法,强烈的主观抒情与对诗一般意境的追求。但田汉的创作又不同于西方的现代主义,因为他执着于现实,同时又在戏剧艺术道路上兼收并蓄,勇敢探索,这就形成了他戏剧创作新浪漫主义的独特风格。
TIAN Han' s plays have a unique appeal among whi ch there are featwres of modernism su ch as abundant imaginativeness,primitive and mysterious vitality,thick sentiment a nd melancholic loneliness,dreamy a nd symbolic way in representation of the characters' subconsciousness,strong emotion a nd poetic pursuit.Yet TIAN Han' s writing,different from the western modernism,is doggedly o rientated towards reality while pro bing and absorbing,which establish es his own New Romanticism in style.
