摘要
根据我国科技期刊和期刊编辑的现状及国际间科技交流对期刊编辑的要求 ,指出科技期刊编辑肩负的历史责任和接受英语应用能力继续教育的重要性和必要性 ,并结合自身工作经验 。
By evaluating the current status of sci tech periodicals and English language application skills of the editors, the author points out the historical responsibility that the editors shoulder for international exchange of scientific and technological information and calls for attention to the imperative importance of further training program to cultivate English application skills of the editors. Several effective means serving the purpose of training were proposed on the basis of the author's professional experience as an editor.
