摘要
长期照护是老龄社会必须面对的一个问题,而临终照料却是一个更加亟须探究的问题,因为临终照料更具有时间紧迫感,更多地与人们"善终"的议题相关联。目前,农村老年人临终问题还未引起社会的足够重视。这与临终关怀问题仅仅是在最近几十年才在中国开始受到关注有直接关系。利用在山东省乳山市农村地区访谈经历过长辈去世的村民所获资料,研究去世老年人的家人对其去世时的健康状况、照料提供类型与模式、照料过程的主观感受,以及对老人去世原因的解释等。从临终照料的主体——临终者和照料者本身出发,对现有的临终照料研究做一补充与推进。
End-of-life care is.an urgent issue in an aging society because it makes people feel time urgency and affects the quality of death,or a"good death".The issue has not been explored for rural population in China which may be a result of the discussion of end-of-life care in China in general only in recent several decades.This article is a result of a field research in a village of Shandong Province in Northern China.Based on experiences of the care among villagers expressed, the article discusses health status and causes of death of the deceased interpreted by their care givers,types of care provided,as well as subjective feeling toward the care.The study provided new insights on end-of-life care in rural China.
