摘要
本文采集了海南六个地区的石英砂样品,对这些样品进行了化学成分,白度和粒径的分析;并研究了不同石英砂原料对托辊用陶瓷材料显微结构、烧结性能和力学性能的影响。结果表明:石梅湾采集的石英砂具有较细的粒度D70=0.24μm和较低的烧失量1.88wt.%;采用此石英砂制得托辊用陶瓷材料具有最佳的抗折强度(126.02 MPa)和良好的烧结性能,显气孔率0.4%,体积密度2.84 g/cm^3。较好的性能归因于材料微观尺度上较小的气孔尺寸、颗粒拔出机制的作用以及贝壳状和多片状断裂机制的作用。最后采用这种配方成功做出了陶瓷托辊试样。
Quartz sand samples from six areas of Hainan were collected in this paper. The chemical composition, whiteness and particle size of these samples were analyzed. Moreover, the effects of different quartz sand materials on the microstructure, sintering properties and mechanical properties of ceramics for the roller were studied. The results show that the quartz sand collected from Shimei Bay has a fine grain size of D70 = 0.24 μm and a lower loss on ignition of 1.88 wt.%. The ceramic material used to make the roller has the best flexural strength(126.02 MPa) and good sintering performance with the apparent porosity of 0.4% and the bulk density of 2.84 g/cm^3. The performance of the material is attributed to the smaller pore size on the microscopic scale, the effect of the particle extraction mechanism, and the role of the conchoidal and multi-sheet fracture mechanisms. Finally, ceramic roller samples were successfully made using this recipe.
