摘要
GDT是通讯设备中常用的浪涌防护器件,其浪涌动作特性直接影响防护效果。大部分标准对于浪涌测试指标都是一个固定的等级,而实际现网应用时,端口感应电压都是非标准的,即使等级低于测试标准,也会导致端口失效。该文详细分析了因GDT导致的非标低压浪涌防护失效案例,指出非标测试的必要性,对提高产品的现网使用健壮性有非常重要的意义。
Gas discharge tube(GDT)is a common surge protection device in communication equipment.Its surge action characteristics directly affect the protection level.Most of the standards have a fixed level for surge test index,but the induction voltage is uncertain in the actual application of the network.This paper analyses the failure cases of non-standard low voltage surge protection caused by GDT,and points out the necessity of non-standard testing,which is very meaningful to improve the robustness of the products in the actual application.
