摘要
通过对世界上重要牧草作物 -苜蓿品质改良中有关抗臌胀苜蓿研究发展状况及存在问题的分析 ,提出了利用生物技术手段解决抗臌胀问题的关键 -实现合成单宁的基因的适量表达这一观点。并结合我国草地资源及其利用、草地畜牧业的发展和生态环境脆弱等状况 。
This article gave an overview of the current status of research on the breeding of bloat-safe alfalfa using biotechnology. It analyzed the relation between condensed tannin accumulation in alfalfa and bloat, and concluded that the expression of condensed tannin can be manipulated by the transfer of genes involved in biosynthesis or regulation of anthocyanin, into alfalfa. It also covered the current situation of the grassland resources, development of grassland animal husbandry and ecological environment in China. At the same time it discussed the importance of improvement of alfalfa to economical development and ecological environment.
