摘要
“桂冠诗人”是西方文坛一种渊远流长的荣誉称号 ,在英国它更成为一项官方的奖励制度 ,对文学乃至政治都产生了广泛而深远的影响。由于民主化、多元化因素的增强 ,英国文学界与舆论界对这一制度表现出了复杂的态度 ,这一制度的改革成为了历史的必然。
In the western literary world Laureate is an honour title with a long history.It is an encouraging system issued by the goverment in England.It has an extensive and profound influence on literature and politics.However,people in the literary world and journalism show a complicated attitude to it.So,reforming the system becomes a must.\;
