滇西北白马雪山西坡长苞冷杉林群落特征的研究 被引量:4

Community Characteristics of Abies Georgei Forest on The Western Slope of Baima Snow Mountain in Northwestern Yunnan

摘要 研究了白马雪山西坡长苞冷杉林的群落组成、结构以及不同海拔梯度上的种群结构、分布格局和苗木更新的变化规律。白马雪山西坡的长苞冷杉林为杜鹃—长苞冷杉林 ,分布于海拔 3 5 0 0~ 42 0 0m的范围内 ,林分结构简单 ,多为单层纯林 ,郁闭度 0 .5~ 0 .7,长苞冷杉的平均密度为 42 5株 /hm2 。该区长苞冷杉高度通常小于 8m ,海拔从高到低平均胸径变化规律为 19.4cm→ 10 .4cm→ 11.2cm。长苞冷杉种群在不同海拔梯度上都呈随机分布格局。更新苗木在海拔 3 80 0m左右的平均密度最大为 1930 0株 /hm2 ,随着海拔升高或降低 ,密度都随之而减小。目前更新苗木低矮 ,平均高度通常只有 10cm左右 ,能否成功更新难以预料 ,因此必须进一步加强对该区天然林的保护。 The Abies Georgei forest on the western slope of Baima Snow Mountain in northwestern Yunnan province has been studied to have a better understanding of the community characteristics.In this area, Abies Georgei forest is distributed at altitudes from 3,500-4,200 m above sea level. Its community structure is relatively simple with only one story of trees that form pure coniferous forest, which has a crown cover of 50%-70%. The average densities of Abies Georgei trees are 425 per hm 2 and most trees of this species are rarely exceeding 8 m in height. The mean diameters of breast height (DBH) at altitudes of 4,000m, 3,800m and 3,600m are 19.4cm, 10.4cm and 11.2 cm respectively. The tree distribution of Abies Georgei population is of random pattern at the whole altitude range. At the altitude of about 3,800m, the density of regenerating seedlings reaches maximum (19 300 plants/hm 2 ), which decreases upwards or downwards. At the time that the field investigation was done, most seedlings were around 10 cm in height, so it was unpredictable whether these seedlings were able to grow into trees. Therefore, it is of vital importance to protect the natural forest in this area.
