社会角色是指与人们的某种社会地位、身份相一致的整套权利、义务的规范与行为模式，它是人们对具有特定身份的人的行为期望，新闻记者要成功地扮演其社会角色，并非是件容易的事，它不仅需要主观的不懈努力，而且需要客观的必备条件。
The social role is defined as a complete series of standard and conduct pattern of rights and duties,which are in harmony with people's social status and identity It is a conduct expectation towards a person specially designated for a post.It is difficult for a news reporter to creat his social part successfully,which needs not only his perseverence but his objective essential condition.
