摘要
通过对芯区为线性介质、包层为非线性自聚焦Kerr介质的埋入型矩形波导的理论分析和数值计算表明 :当模折射率等于芯区折射率时 ,Ey0 0 模芯区的场呈现等振幅的“平台形”分布而四周包层的场则急剧衰减 ;在模折射率分别小于和大于芯区折射率时 ,Ey0 0 模芯区场分布分别成为上凸和下凹的曲面 .并指出 ,光波导芯区中出现均匀场会在光波导、光电子。
It is presented the theoretical analysis and numerical calculations for E y 00 mode of a buried linear rectangular waveguide with Kerr_Type nonlinear cladding. It is shown that when the modal refractive index N equals to the refractive index of core n f , the core field distribution of E y 00 mode becomes uniform_'platform_like', while the cladding field reduces rapidly; for N<n f and N>n f , the field amplitude distribution surfaces become convex and concave respectively. It is notified that the occurrence of uniform core field in a waveguide core may perhaps have prospective application in waveguides, optic_electric and photonic devices.
