摘要
“百年中国文学”并不仅是时间概念 ,而且是有特定意义的文学史概念。它以其整体的视界、“一览众山小”的气度 ,突现了中国文学从传统向现代演变过程 ,这无异是一项革命性举措。把当代文学置于百年中国文学视野去研究 ,是一种艰难的整合。除《百年中国文学总系》等少数几种论著较令人满意外 ,有份量的、经得起时间沉淀的著作还是太少。今后如要编写新的文学史 ,寻求突破性的进展 ,仍必须把更新文学史观念和方法放在首位。此外 ,要处理好普及与提高的关系。再次 ,在研究方法上要注意文化层面上的融合。还应倡导扎实、严谨的学风 。
Century_old Chinese literature', both a concept of time and of literary history with specific significance, pictures in its entirety the evolution of Chinese literature from tradition to modernity. As it is no easy work to study modern literature in the context of the century_old Chinese literature, there have been few satisfactory works on literary history except A General History of Century_old Chinese Literature. Therefore, priority should be given to renewing the concept of literary history and of methodology in the compilation of new literature history. In addition, some other key issues such as the relationship between popularization and improvement, the style of study, etc, should be duly attended to.
