摘要
梁实秋并未蓄意鼓吹“与抗战无关”论，只是他的自由主义文学观的自然延伸，但在抗战情势下，更加不合时宜。批评文章易见的断章取义，无限上纲，显示了论争另一方观点和方法的片面性。更多的史料表明，梁实秋的“有关”与“无关”，实乃“直接有关”和“间接有关”之谓也。
Liang Shi-qiu has never purposely preached the statement 'Not related to the Anti-Japanese War', which is the extension of his liberalism in literature. It was quite an improper time for him to free such a statement during the crucial moment of the Anti-Japanese War. Yet his opponents garbled this statement in their critic articles. The partial view and judgement of his opponents brought him unfair treatment. More and more historical data reveal that Liang Shi-qiu's 'related' and 'not related' statements actually refer to 'directly related' and 'indirectly related to'.
