摘要
小波图像编码由于其高压缩效率而得到广泛关注 ,其主要由小波、量化以及编码技术组成 .本文主要对小波压缩技术的 3部分进行了分析和评价 ,并对多个小波图像编码进行了比较 .随后使用 2个小波、3个量化器和 3个编码器对 Lena图像进行了实验 .实验结果表明性能优越的小波编码器可以通过综合现有的小波、量化和无损编码技术而得到 ,并且在开发应用时 ,可使用该方法从众多的小波编码器中选择适合于自己应用的编码方案 .
Wavelet image coding has gained wide attention for its high compression effect. It consists of wavelet, quantization and encoding. In this paper, the three components are analyzed and assessed, and several wavelet image encodings are compared. Then, an experiment is carried out using two wavelets, three quantizers and three encoders. Our result shows that an excellent wavelet encoder can result from a careful synthesis of existing techniques of wavelet, quantization and encodering. So developers can choose a good wavelet encoder for their applications.
