摘要
建立并描述新属葛村粉 (Gecunpollisgen .nov .)及其 3新种和 1比较种。新属以球形、远极具大口 ,口上盖有薄膜为特征 ,产于苏南句容地区句 11井葛村组下部上段至中上部。其可能属于一种已灭绝的裸子植物花粉 ,分布时代为晚Barremian晚期至Aptian期。葛村组以往被归属为Aptian期至Albian期 ,句 11井下部出现棒纹粉带表明 。
This paper reports a new genus Gecunpollis gen. nov. and its three new species, including Gecunpollis rotundus gen. et sp. nov., G. minutus gen. et sp. nov. and G. plicatus gen. et sp. nov. from the upper lower part to the upper part of the Gecun Formation in Well Ju 11 of the Jurong area, South Jiangsu Province. It is a monosulcoid pollen of spheroidal shape, characterized by a large pore with approximately equal to or larger than 2/3 of the pollen diameter, and a larger membrane covering the pore. This genus is suggested to be from an extinct gymnosperm, and distributed in the late Late Barremian—Aptian. The Gecun Formation is originally considered as Aptian—Albian in age. The newly discovery of a Clavatipollenites zone in the lower part of the formation infers that the whole Gecun Formation could be traced back to the Late Barremian.
