重庆作为西部惟一的直辖市、西南地区的工商业重镇及“联接东西 ,左右传递”的东西部结合点 ,能否抓住西部大开发这一千载难逢的机遇 ,“努力把重庆建设成为长江上游的经济中心” 。
Chongqing, a city directly under the central government and city of important industry, commerce in the Southwest, is now having the opportunity of development. To build Chongqing into an economic center at the upper reach of the Yangtze River, the key is quicken the adjustment and upgrade of industry structure.
