摘要
美国著名作家海明威的代表作《老人与海》是世界文坛的一朵奇葩 ,不少翻译家译过该作品。文章对其中两部较有代表的中译本——大陆翻译家海观译本和台湾翻译家宋碧云译本进行了比较分析 ,分析侧重于它们对原著简洁、凝练语言风格的再现程度。通过对两种译文的量和质的比较 ,可以看出 ,宋碧云的译本在再现原著语言风貌方面要优于海观的译本。
Hemingway's representative work The old Man and the Sea is a beautiful flower in the world's literature,and many translators have ever translated this story into Chinese.This paper tries to make a comparison between the two typical Chinese translations of The Old Man and the Sea made by the mainland's translator ,Haiguan and the Taiwan translator ,Song Biyun .The paper pays more attention to the reappearing degree of the original work's precise language style. Through the comparison in both quality and amount, the authors think that the Chinese translation by Song Biyun is superior to that of Haiguan in reappearing the original work's language style.
