摘要
本文以哺乳动物牙齿中enamel晶体为例 ,简要地报道了用原子力显微镜现场跟踪用高氯酸处理过的enamel晶体在模拟其生长环境中的生长过程。结果表明 :enamel晶体经高氯酸处理后 ,碳酸根离子可能取代晶体中的磷酸根离子从而增加了生长位点。
Using atomic force microscopy, it has proved possible to follow growth of maturation stage enamel crystal in vitro in simulated enamel fluid (pH = 7 4, DS ≥ 6 1). An amino terminated self assembled monolayer surface was used as substrates to immobilize the crystals for imaging. The data indicated that crystals treated with hypochlorite showed an increase of approximately 5%~10% in both length and width for the first 2h, before reaching a plateau. Surface roughness was also determined at each time along the crystal 'C' axis. Surface roughness decreased with time, which was paralleled by decreased in rate of growth. These data suggest that treatment with hypochlorite produces crystal surfaces, which favour growth. This approach opens a new window to in situ investigate the in vitro growth mechanism of biological hydroxyaptite crystals with nano scale resolution, and therefore provides us an opportunity to look at the organic and inorganic interaction directly.
