A description is given of the principle and technological process for the production of potassium carbonate and ammonium chloride by the ion exchange process, with emphasis on the process for the recovery of ammonium chloride and ammonium carbonate, which is a reference for plants producing K 2CO 3 by the ion exchange process to lower their production cost and improve benefits.
