摘要
对于中国戏曲史上的两大戏曲类别元杂剧与南戏 (明清两代称为“传奇”)之主角正末、正旦与生、旦 ,人们习以为是相同的 ,然而考察其作品实际 ,二者实有重大差异。正末、正旦既可扮演主要人物 ,亦可扮演次要人物 ;二者的关系既可为夫妻或情侣关系 ,亦可为其他关系 ;一剧之中或有正末而无正旦 ,或有正旦而无正末。而南戏之生、旦则只扮演剧中的主人公 ,且二者必为夫妻或情侣关系 ,且有生必有旦 ,有旦必有生。究其原因 ,在于末与生。
As for the major characters ‘zhengmo’,‘zhengdan’ and ‘sheng’,‘dan’ in Yuan zaju and Southern opera,the two major drama types in Chinese drama history,people used to think that they were alike.However,based on a study of works,this paper comes to the conclusion that there is a big difference between them.‘zhengmo’ and ‘zhengdan’ could not only play major characters, but also minor characters The relation between them was that of husband and wife or that of lovers or else.A drama could have ‘zhengmo’ without having ‘zhengdan’,or vice versa.But in Southern opera,‘sheng' and ‘dan’ could only play heroes and heroines,and the relation between them must be that of husband and wife or that of lovers.In addition,‘sheng’ couldn’t do without ‘dan’,and vice versa.The cause consists in the fact that ‘mo’and ‘sheng’,‘zhengdan’ and ‘dan’ represented different types of characters and in the difference between the two major dramas in their theme tradition and musical organization.
