摘要
转型期是英国由封建社会向资本主义社会的过渡时期。这一时期农村人口向城市迁移的规模很大 ,其主要原因是 :农村人口增长对土地形成的压力 ,农村经济转型产生的推力 。
In England the Transitional Period is the change period from the feudal society to capitalist society. In this period the size of migration from rural area to urban area was very large. The major causes were as follow: the rapid increase in rural population brought about a large pressure to the resources of the cultivated land; the social and economic changes in rural areas released a large number of surplus labor forces; the pull was given by the economic development of urban areas;and the influences resulted from the change of social system.
