摘要
２０世纪初，报告文学的崛起表征了中国现代知识分子的觉醒，为知识分子提供了批判现实。有所言说的论坛；战争及建国后的特殊情势使知识分子走向边缘，报告文学作者淡化了知识分子的话语立场；改革开放，激活了知识分子的主体意识，但话语空间的扩大，并不必然伴随报告文学的真正繁盛。
The hard alternative between 'chunwen' and'zaidao' run through modern Chinese prose histo- ry. Zhou Zuoren's'self presentation'theory does not recognize that the self is also oUect category and can not determine prose is art proper. The debates of the nature ofprose in 30s were far from art field, and led to two different values. The theoretical investigations of prose after 1949 sticked to modern discourse. and the creativitv ofprose continued in abnormal state.
