The present paper made an analysis of the novel and Lawrence’s main subject matter.Lawrence’s subject matter is relations between men and women,which could lead to regeneration.He aims to reveal the beauty and signficance of sex,and tries to explain the true essence of life through the allegorical and symbolic charactrees.
