摘要
２０世纪的元杂剧研究成就巨大。在本世纪，元杂剧研究成为一门体系性的学科，“一代文学”的地位得以确立，关汉卿在中国文学史上的崇高地位被承认。在元杂剧的繁荣、衰微和发展分期等问题上逐渐达成共识，一批元杂剧作者的生平、写作活动与作品的真伪归属得以考证和辨析。探讨元杂剧的题材内容、艺术结构和演出形态，确立了悲剧、喜剧的概念，并对元剧的悲剧、喜剧类型进行了深入研究。特别是文献、书目的搜集整理，成就尤为突出。但也存在研究角度单一，研究程度不平衡等不足。
The twentieth century sees great achievement in the research on the Yuan Opera, which be- comes a systematic subject well established as 'Literature of the Era'. Guan Hanqing was generally ac- cepted as a great playwright in the history of Chinese literature. During this period, scholars reached a- greement on the dating of the phases of prosperity, development and decline of the Yuan opera. Other subjects like some playwrights' life and writing career and the authorship of some works were dealt with. What is more, the Yuan opera's genres, content, artistic structure and forms of performance have been examined. Further research has been done on its tragedy and comedy types. The accomplishments, espe- cially in collection and sort of bibliographies and catalogues, are remarkable. Yet, there is still some lack in this investigation, such as single research angle and unbalanced research level.
