摘要
唐代举子并不热衷于用传奇行卷，也没有形成风气；传奇行卷的说法是不确当的，行卷的风气没有直接促进唐传奇的发展唐传奇的兴盛及其社会影响，是由于科举人才进入传奇创作之故。
As a matter of fact, the candidates for imperial examinations in the Tang Dynasty were not as keen as they have ben thought to be on Presenting the examiners with the literary tales written by themselves, nor did it become the established Practice. It is true that imperial examinations played an important role in promoting the ceation of Tang literary tales, but this is due not so much to the fact that the candidates were crazy about submitting their writings to the examiners before an imperial examination began as to the fact that the candidates for imperial examinations were increasingly engaged for creating literary tales of the Tang style and made it felt widely in the society.
