摘要
介绍一种将McCumber理论和Judd Oflet理论结合起来计算稀土离子从激发态跃迁回基态的发射截面的方法 ,这种方法非常简单 ,只需要测量离子的吸收光谱。计算了氟化物玻璃中稀土离子Tm3+ 、Yb3+ 和Er3+ 第一激发态的发射截面 ,其结果表明这种方法是很实用的。
A method to calculate the emission cross section of rare-earth ions was introduced based on the combination of the McCumber theory with Judd-Oflet theory. The method is very simple and only needs to measure the absorption spectra. The emission cross sections of Tm3+, Yb3+ and Er3+ ions from the first excited state to the ground state were calculated in this way. The results indicate that the method is practical.
