摘要
作者提供了比较完整的庙山坡缕石分析数据,指出了其成因,认为庙山坡缕石与国内外同类矿物性质相类似,具有重要的矿物学研究意义。
The Miaoshan palygorskite,as vinlike ore produced in the volcanic rock of Dawangshan formation in Mesozoic era in Liyang county was found in the process of prospecting pyrophyllite ore.The chemical composition and physical charc- teristics of Miaoshan palygorskite,investigated by the chemical anyalsis,X—ray diffraction,differential thermal and in- frared absorption spectrum anyalysises as well as electron microscope identification,are similar to that of standard paly- gorskites lit the world.The Miaoshan palygorskite is deduced as a product from which Mg,Al containing silicates are pre- cipitated in the low—temperature hydrothermal condition along bedding surface or crack on the basis of the character- isitlca of intergrowth with opal and allochite existed in wallrock.Pure monomineralic rocks are hard to find in nature, so,it is very important to investigate its mineralogy and indusrial applications.
