Coactivated Luminescence of Eu^(2+) and Eu^(3+) in BaO-La_2O_3-B_2O_3 Glass

摘要 X射线衍射研究表明2BaO·(1—x)La2O3·9B2O3·Eu2O3(BLBE)体系的玻璃化温度在1025℃附近;荧光光谱研究表明,在BLBE体系中存在着Eu2+和Eu3+两种价态离子,316,360,379,393,413,462和512nm锐线激发峰和 592,616,650和 750 nm红区发射峰分别对应Eu3+离子的f-f激发跃迁和5D0-7FJ(J=1,2,3,4)跃迁发射,430 nm和532nm宽带激发峰和蓝区发射分别对应Eu2+”离子的5d-4f激发跃迁和发射,引入Gd3+离子能明显改善玻璃的红蓝光发射比,表明在BLBEG体系中存在着 Gd3+→Eu2+→ Eu3+能量传递过程. The result of X ray powder diffraction indicates that glass forms at 1 025 °C in the system of 2BaO&middot(1 - x)La2O3&middot 9B2O3&middot xEu2O3 (BLBE). The study of luminescence spectra reveals that two valence ions, Eu2+ and Eu3+ have existed in this system. The acute excitation bands at 316, 360, 379, 393, 413, 462 and 532 nm, the red-region emission bands at 592, 616, 650 and 750 nm correspond to the f-f excitation transition and the emission transition of 5Do - 7FJ(J=1,2,3,4,) of Eu3+ ions, respectively. Likewise, the broad excitation bands at 430 nm and 532 nm correspond to the 5d-4f excitation transition of Eu2+ ions, and the blue emission bands to the emission of Eu2+ ions. By the result that the introduction of Gd3+ ion can distinctly improve the emission intensity ratios of the blue-light and red-light of the glass, it indicates that the main process of energy transfer is Gd3+-Eu2+ Eu3+ in BLBEG system.
