论述了知识经济时代的特征和图书馆面临的机遇和挑战，展望了图书馆将要发生的一系列 根本性变革，指出了高校图书馆工作人员如何才能适应知识经济时代的要求。
The characteristice of knowledge times and the opportunities and challenges which a library was facing were descussed. It was predicted that the library would face a series of radical reform during the knowledge times. It was pointed out how librarians could adapt themselves to the knowledge economy times.
