摘要
国际学校是一种以国际理解和思考问题的全球视角为价值取向 ,以世界范围的流动人员为主要服务对象 ,以培养学生在全球化进程中所必需的语言、知识、能力和态度的学校。国际学校的课程是国际学校的灵魂和赖以存在的基础 ,其以培养学生能胜任和参与国际事务的基本能力为目标 ,在内容上 ,突出交流工具———语言的学习 ,具有鲜明的国际化特色。
International school is a school which takes a global concept as its value orientation, is intended mainly for mobile people all over the world and develops foreign languages, knowledge, ability and attitude necessary for students in process of globalization. The curriculum is crucial to international school with the purpose of cultivating the ability of students to participate in international affairs and where great importance has been attached to language learning, which is sharply characterized by internationalization.
