摘要
研究熔盐体系的各种物理化学性质及电解制备金属,相图是非常必要的。由于稀土元素,分离提纯及实验时测定相图的困难,至今只能见到某些稀土氯化物的二元相图,而含稀土的三元氯化物体系相图的报道甚少。NdCl20-BaCl2-LiCl三元体系相图尚未见到文献报道。本文测定了该三元体系的相图。
The phase diagram of ternary system NdCl_3-BaCl_2-LiCl has been investigated by
means of DTA and X-ray diffraction analysis. It was found that there are 5 surfaces
corresponding to the primary crystallization of NdCl_3, α-BaCl_2, β-BaCl_2, LiCl and
Ba_3NdCl_9 respeotively, and 6 univariant lines related to the secondary crystallization in
this system. The two reactions occured in this system are:
L+β-BaCl_2 = Ba_3NdCl_9+LiCl
P[54.5 (wt%) NdCl_3, 20.0 (wt%) BaCl_2, 25.5 (wt%) LiCl; 485°C]
L=Ba_3NdCl_9+LiCl+NdCl_3
E[68.5 (wt%) NdCL_3, 2.2 (wt%) BaCl_2, 29.3 (wt%) LiCl; 438°C]
A compound, formed in the solid state, was found. The temperature of decomposition
occures at 427°C.
