The Sino-Japanese war changed the East Asia international relations and political structure. After the Sino-Japanese War, Japan, on one hand, with the alignment with western powers like UK and Germany, formed a craving up alliance in East Asia or even the entire Asia; on the other hand, Japan seized Taiwan and Korea and then created the “Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere” by wars and violent means. Thus Japan grabbed the political and diplomatic upper hand and discourse power in Asia, as a result of which Japan established its leading position in the East Asia international relations after the Sino-Japanese War.
