摘要
软质聚氯乙烯(PVC)在包装、医疗及家居等领域应用时,常受到紫外光的作用而发生老化,影响其性能及耐久性。通过FTIR、UV-Vis及力学性能的测试分析,追踪了软质PVC在紫外光老化过程中的微观结构和宏观性能变化。结果表明,在紫外光老化过程中,在发生氧化等降解反应时,PVC分子链中伴随有共轭双键生成,证实了邻苯二甲酸酯类增塑剂在老化过程中将发生酯键断裂等反应,并发现其对PVC老化生成共轭双键反应可能有一定抑制作用。老化后的软质PVC拉伸强度和断裂伸长率都有不同程度的降低。
Plasticized poly(vinyl chloride) materials for packaging,medical,and household use were often intentionally exposed to UV light,though its impact on the microstructure development of plasticized PVC would limit its application.This paper investigated the microstructure and properties of plasticized PVC during different UV ageing time through FTIR,UV-Vis and mechanical tests.It was found that photodehydrochlorination and photooxidative degradation of plasticized PVC happened during the UV aging process.Especially,UV exposure resulted in the cleavage of the aromatic ester bond,restraining the reaction generating conjugated double bond.The tensile strength and elongation at break of plasticized PVC partially decreased as the UV irradiation time increasing.
