摘要 国民性是指在特定生存境遇中,某一国族民众身上自然或自觉地形成的一种相对稳定的国民心性结构与社会性格。国民性具有多重内涵,国民性论争是助推近代中国人成熟的精神力量,国民性品质是国家软实力的核心构成要素。国民教育是促成国民性抬升的有力手段,其教育效能的彰显取决于五个因素,即功能底线、时代需求、环境参照、典范引领与文化配合。当代我国国民性教育的任务是开展国民共同体身份认同教育、国民素质教育与国民生活哲学教育;国民性特质的培育、国民性旧质的重塑与国民性新质的催生构成了当代我国国民教育的三大主途径。 Nationality of certain nation is a kind of comparatively steady temperament structure and social character which develops consciously and unconsciously in some living circumstances. Nationality has many complications and nationality disputes is the spiritual force that facilitates Chinese to mature. Nationality quality is the core component of a nation' s soft power. National education is a powerful means that helps nationality to ripeness. Emergence of its functions depends on five factors, which are basic functions, demands of the times, reference system of environment, guidance of model and cultural cooperation. The duties of contemporary national education are to carry out self-identity education within the community, quality-oriented education and national living philosophy of citizens, in which it has three main paths, that is, cultivation of nationality peculiarities, reshaping of old nationality qualities and induction of new nationality qualities.
