摘要
从空间隐喻、结构隐喻和实体隐喻三方面对Lakoff的概念隐喻理论进行分析,并揭示英语隐喻意义产生的演算过程。
Based on the conceptual theory proposed by Lakoff , the paper attempts to make a study of spatial metaphors , struc-tural metaphors and ontological metaphors .And the author tries to find out the connotation deduction process of English meta-phorical expressions in which diverse cognitive factors are involved .
