摘要
我国古代创造了光辉灿烂的音乐文化,但没有归纳、总结出本民族音乐的理论体系。由于音乐理论体系的缺失,20世纪初,举国无一人能谱新乐,开中国近现代音乐史先河的学堂乐歌,大多抄袭外国作曲家作品中的现成曲调,为其填词。100多年后的今天,民族音乐理论体系依然尚未建成。我们应当弄清古代“乐理”和今天“音乐理论”的不同,也不要以为用西洋音乐理论便可以代替中国音乐理论。笔者认为在研究中国各民族音乐作品形态和借鉴欧美音乐理论已取得成果的基础上,建立起我国民族音乐的理论体系,是中国音乐界目前面临的一项光荣任务。
The ancient China created a brilliant and splendid musical culture. However, there has been no meaningful attempt or success for establishing a musicological system of the national music. Because of lack of such a system there was not a single person who could write music just at the beginning of the 20th century, and the campus songs which pioneered the modern Chinese music history were mostly mere setting ups of lyrics to existing Western melodies. Today, over 100 years later, the system is still absent. We need to distinguish the differences between the ancient Chinese 'yue li' and today's 'music theory', and we should not assume that Chinese musicology can be simply substituted with its Western counterpart. This author thinks that, based on what we have achieved on many fronts, it is still yet an honorable mission of the Chinese music industry to establish our own musicological system.
