秦皇岛倚山濒海，风光瑰丽，自古就是观海赋诗的胜地。公元207年，曹操“东临碣石，以观沧海”，写下了千古名篇《观沧海》。1954年，毛泽东在这里写下了不朽词章——《浪淘沙·北戴河》。无独有偶，清初著名满族青年词人纳兰性德，在这里也曾写下过一首《浪淘沙·望海》，词篇宏伟。不但风格特异，而且成就不凡，意义深远，值得我们欣赏与研讨。
