摘要
"短文背诵"是中国人学习语言的传统"法宝",符合国情,更符合中国学生的学习习惯。但是在边远落后的农村高中,短文背诵工作并没有在英语教学中得到足够重视。原因虽然有来自学生方面的不接受和不配合,但更多的是英语教师的不主动和执行力弱。归根结底是对短文背诵的重要性认识不到位,对如何在教学中落实背诵环节没有现成的经验可供参考。文章拟就这个问题浅谈一点自己的教学体会和实践做法。
The “essay reciting” remains a traditional “magic key” for Chinese learning of lan- guages, compliant with the context of China and the Chinese students' learning habits. However, in remote rural high schools, essay reciting is not paid due attention in English teaching because of, on one hand, the students' non-acceptance and non-collaboration, on the other side, the teachers' non-initiative and weak executive power which form the major factors. In final analysis, the teachers are not aware of the importance of the essay-reciting approach and in actual teaching, little experi- ence of the approach is available for reference. Aiming at the two problems, the author intends to talk about his own teaching experience practicing the approach.
