摘要
阴阳理论在董学中具有重要地位和作用,董子对阴阳的性质、运行的方式、运行的路径,以及阴阳在行进过程中的数量和比例的变化及其在气候的变化等方面都做了详细的分析说明。从其论述看,其阴阳理论在内容上、形式上都充分吸收和利用了当时天文学和气候学的有关知识,具有朴素的科学性。在论证方法上采用了当时汉代社会普遍流行的简单类比的方式和天人感应的形式,虽然带有一定的神秘性,但似乎更多地表现了当时农业社会条件下靠天吃饭的人们的一种"天人合一"的思维方式。
The theory of Yin and Yang plays an important role in Dong Zhongshu’s doctrine. Dong Zhongshu makes a detailed analysis of what their nature is, how they work, how their amount and proportion change and how the climate changes. His discussion shows that, in contents and forms, his theory, which absorbs and uses some relevant knowledge of astronomy and climatology, is simply scientific;in methods, his theory, which adopts the method of simple analogy that was popular in Han dynasty and the form of nature-man telepathy, is mystical in some way, but it seems to reflect“nature-man integrity”, one of the thinking mode of the people who lived off nature in the agricultural society.
