摘要
游客安全感是反映旅游目的地安全状况的重要标志,是游客在旅游目的地最基本的需求。文章在阐述旅游目的地游客安全感概念基础上,系统分析了游客安全感的影响因素,进而探讨了游客安全感的形成过程,构建了游客安全感形成机理的理论模型,并进行了实证检验,结果表明:(1)服务内容、地域文化、旅游环境、安全信息、治安状况是游客安全认知评价的5个公因子;(2)采用多元统计的逐步回归分析方法,验证安全认知评价与5个公因子等之间的关系假设成立;(3)使用山岳型、滨海型、乡村型综合样本数据对游客安全感形成机理模型进行了拟合检验,模型拟合较好。
A tourists' sense of security is not only the 'barometer'of the safe conditions at a destination but also a fundamental element of tourist needs, which is suggestive of the security situation of destinations and serves as an important indicator to measuring 'the suitability of a destination for visitation'. The problem of tourists' safety has hence attracted wide attention due to various travel accidents that happened under different circumstances with highly uncertain and complex occurrences in recent years. It is therefore imperative and of significance to strengthen the awareness of the importance of a tourists' sense of security. First,this paper defines the concept of tourists' sense of security as the comprehensive subjective psychological experience of tourists during their travel in a particular space-time condition,with the feeling that they are free from danger,and free from physical or mental stress and injury or property damage due to interference from external forces. It is a subjective feeling originating from objective conditions in a destination and a behavioral process of subjectivity resulting from objectivity. Second,this paper discusses the significance of tourists ' sense of security and factors affecting its formation. After a detailed discussion on the definition and the connotation of tourists' sense of security,the article analyzes and summarizes the major factors affecting the formation of tourists' sense of security at a destination. These factors include tourism environment,regional culture,tourists ' background,their perceptions and their behavior. Third,based on tourists' consumption behavior,this paper explores the cognitive process and formation of tourists' sense of security at a destination,pointing out that their sense and cognition of security constitutes a process influencing a tourist's purchase or decision-making,their participation and experience,and their cognition and appraisal of the destination.
