The distinguishes between environmental risk assessment and environmental impact assessment were ascertained.The contents,procedures,requirements of environmental risk assessment for waste landfill sites were introduced.The environmental risk factors and their classification for waste landfill sites were established.The contents,methods and points of source term analysis,risk estimation and risk evaluation were analyzed,and the corresponding risk management strategies were put forward.
