摘要
韦伯夫妇是英国近现代社会主义史上的杰出代表和早期费边社的灵魂,曾亲自主持筹建伦敦政治经济学院和改组伦敦大学。他们有关教育改革的思想包括教育平等原则、重视技术教育、教育为现实服务和教育多元化等内容。分析和研究韦伯夫妇教育改革思想及实践,有助于加深我们对英国近代教育体制和英国国民性的理解。
The Webbs ,the outstanding representatives in Modern and Contemporary British history ,are the soul in the early period of Fabian Society .They not only established London School of Economics and Political Science but also reshuffled London University .Their Education Reform theory includes following contents ：education equality ,attaching great importance to technology education ;advocating education to serve social reality and diversified education etc .To probe the Education Peform theory and practice advocated by the Webbs can help us to deeply understand modern and contemporary British edu-cation system as well as British nationality .
