摘要
用熔融缩聚法制备了含有2,2-双(4-羟基苯基)丙烷(BPA)、1,1-双(4-羟基苯基)苯乙烷(BPAP)、2,2-双(4-羟基苯基)六氟丙烷(BPAF)的系列聚芳酯,并采用固相聚合增黏的方法提高了聚芳酯的相对分子质量,从而使其拥有更好的热性能和更优良的加工性能。采用傅里叶红外光谱、差示扫描量热分析、热失重分析、热台偏光显微镜、熔融指数仪等手段对其进行表征,证明这种从分子结构修饰聚芳酯分子链改变聚芳酯热力学性能的手段是行之有效的。在热台偏光显微镜中观察到的热致性液晶图像也证实在聚合物内部含有热致性液晶晶区。通过测试对比发现,含有BPAP单体的聚芳酯同时兼顾了较高的耐热性能和更优良的加工性能。
A series of liquid crystalline polyarylates were prepered from 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl) propane (BPA), 1,1- bis(4- hydroxyphenyl) benzene ethane(BPAP), 2,2- his(4- hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane (BPAF) via melt polymerization. Liquid crystalline polyarylates molecular weight were increased by using solid state polymerization method. Liquid crystalline polyarylates were characterized by Fourier transform infrared, differential scanning calorimetry, thermal gravimetric analysis, polarized optical microscopy and melt index meter. The results showed that the decomposition temperature at 5 % weight loss, the glass tem- perature of the liquid crystalline polyarylates and the melting temperature was in range of 352-408 ℃, 98- 128 ℃ and 221-237 ℃ respectively. The thermotropic liquid crystal phase were confirmed by observing banded texture image in the POM.
