摘要
Stuffing box is commonly used in oilfield. It is a component of a pumping unit. When the pumping unit＇ s polish rod moves up and down repeatedly, the stuffing box can play a role in sealing so as to prevent the liquid in the oil well flom leaking. However, there can be friction, called ＂eccentric wear＂ , between the polish rod and stuffing box for some reason during their relative movements. This paper proposed specific solution through analyzing this phenomenon.
