摘要
住宿学院是高校实现通识教育改革,提高大学生综合能力的一种有效途径。其主要是以学生社区为平台,与专业学院成矩阵式分工和协作管理学生事务,并全面提高学生综合素质为首要目标。中美大学受历史、文化等社会因素影响,在住宿学院管理方面存在一定异同点。以耶鲁大学住宿学院、汕头大学至诚书院为个案,采用文献法、比较法等方法,从住宿学院社区文化、硬件设施、管理人员职责分工等方面进行比较研究,并得出相关结论,对完善我国住宿学院管理具有一定意义。
As an effective way to conduct the reform of university liberal education and to improve college student’s comprehensive ability, residential college management is designed to achieve a goal of taking student community as a platform with a matrix division of labor, collaborative management of student affairs with professional college, so as to improve student’s comprehensive quality. Influenced by history and culture, there exist some similarities and dissimilarities in student management between China’s and American universities. In this paper, Residential College of Yale University and Sincerity College of Shantou University as cases, a comparative study is conducted of community culture, facility, responsibility and its division of administrative staff, from which relevant conclusions are drawn to improve the management of residential college in China.
