The Bangong Lake - Nujiang metallogenic belt is an important iron - copper - gold polymetallic metallogenic belt, which is abundant in mineral resources and has great prospecting potential. Due to poor natural conditions in the Qinghai - Tibet Plat- eau, using remote sensing technology for mineral resources survey and prospecting prediction not only overcomes the limitations of the natural environment, but also shorten the exploration cycle and reduce exploration costs. In the case study of the Ritu area by the re- mote sensing technology, the lithological units and structures were interpreted based on the analysis of Multi - spectral remote sensing data from different platforms in combination of the existing geological and mineral resource information. The alteration information such as iron stained, A1 - OH and Mg - OH were extracted based on the remote sensing spectral characteristics of rocks and mineralized zone. The partial boundaries of lithological, stratigraphic and intrusive body boundary were re - determined, some faults were revised and determined based on the field investigation and verification. Eight copper (-iron) polymetallic ore occurrences were discovered. Sixteen remote sensing prospecting targets were delineated by the integrated analysis of ore - forming geological conditions and prospec- ting prediction. These results provide basic data and scientific basis for the further investigation of mineral resources in Ritu area, Ti- bet.
